Number of customers of Banks

Looking at more traditional banks- it can be seen that a #TraditionalBank like #Citi has 200K employees and 200M clients making the customer to employee ratio 1000. On the other hand, #AntFinancial has 10K employees and 1.2B clients making the customer to employee ratio 120K. Although there is a difference in the markets, the 120X efficiency warrants questions with respect to efficiency of traditional banks.

Therefore, the sheer size of the gap in the ratio between the two is a testament to the need for #banks to shift towards digitalization in order to stay competitive in the global and regional markets.
