BBVA,Citibanamex,Grupo Financiero Banorte,Banco Santander, andHSBC, are cataloged based on their controlled assets in millions of pesos.
Interestingly, 4 of the banks on this list have foreign capital and Banorte is the only one with national capital within this count.
